About the job

Our Global Business Unit (GBU) :

The CHC Global Business Unit is one of the four GBUs of Sanofi. It reports sales of ~5Bn€ and is a global leader in its field, with a business footprint on all continents and more than 10, 000 employees. The GBU has the particularity to be engaged in an autonomy journey, which includes – among others- the integration of industrial operations and support functions within the GBU. In this context, the CHC GBU will start releasing new financial information in the course of 2023.

Our Department:

The direction GBS = Global Business Services in CHC Finance Direction provides Global services to the whole BU : Finance, Human Resources, Project management.

The department CFFS = Central Finance Flows and Solutions in GBS stands to facilitate all central finance operations involving the French companies notably entrepreneur (Opella Healthcare Group) and manufacturing & worldwide distribution one (Opella Healthcare International) .

Our Team:

You will join the team IFSA = Intercompany Financial Solutions & Analytics : this is a global organizational unit covering:

  • the definition and management of Intercompany financial and operational framework over the world ;
  • the realization of those intercompany transactions ;
  • the contribution to projects (acquisition, divestment, organizational changes, product launches…)
  • the production of related analytics & deliverables.

This team is also from international culture (~10 different nationalities) and has currently 15 team members.

The position will directly report to IFSA Tax & Transfer Price Lead - CHC Central Finance Flows and Solutions

Main responsibilities:

The Key responsibilities include:

Implement the Transfer Prices related to CHC products in application of the Group Transfer Pricing policy through Data collection which implies contacts with various departments e.g. Industrial, Supply Chain, Finance Corporate/affiliates, International Flows and Treasury Maintain a strong link with local contacts in all affiliates to be sure to get quick and relevant feedback Perform Transfer Prices adjustment based on detailed statutory P&L analysis for all entities within CHC entities to ensure that their full year profitability is in line with the Group Transfer Pricing policy Support local Transfer Pricing documentation by providing P&L’s and checking data reported in TP documentation Work on continuous improvement initiatives regarding our Transfer Price policy including implementation of new policies in case of new acquisitions/activities. Work closely with country or Corporate Tax Manager on specific projects (such as integration of new CHC businesses or Divestment) Assist local affiliates in case of Tax audits

Transfer prices apply to all intra-group transactions (purchases of products/services) and concern all activities performed within the Group (R&D, Manufacturing, Distribution…) . The implemented transfer prices policies aim to ensure that affiliates receive the right remuneration considering their performed functions and assumed risks.

About you

  • Experience: Strong Accounting and Controlling background with experience in business and financial analysis
  • Soft skills:
    • Business Partner Mindset, service oriented
    • Ability to transversally interact with stakeholders across all levels and in an international environment
    • Proactive, self-driven and able to work in an autonomous environment
  • Technical skills:
    • Capacity of analysis and synthesis of financial data
    • Ability to work quickly while maintaining data accuracy and integrity
    • Ability to professionally interact with contacts from different international environments
    • Priority management to be able to reach deadlines
    • Excellent use of Excel, Power BI, IBM Cognos TM1
    • Good knowledge of SAP CO & FI modules.
    • Main professional relationships: Ensure strong and efficient transversal relationships with other stakeholders, mainly:
      • Tax and TP Corporate, regional or country tax managers
      • IFSA team
      • GBS, SBS Accounting, mainly Interco and A2R
      • Finance teams (Corporate, GBUs, IA, Alliance, R&D)
      • Treasury
      • Information Technology System
  • Education: (not mandatory)
  • Languages: Fluent in English. French is a plus.
