Within the Finance Department, we are looking for a dedicated and team-oriented new colleague to join the Tax Team we are building for Opella. In that respect, we are very much attached to find a candidate with a strong sense of commitment, towards the tasks, the business and the team. Although mostly located in France, our Tax Team is spread over many geographies and we offer you to be part of an international setting with many contacts across different functions and countries. As a member of the Tax Compliance & Reporting Team, you will report to Opella. Head of Tax Compliance & Reporting.

Your main responsibilities

As Opella. Tax Compliance & Reporting Manager, you will assist the Head of Tax Compliance & Reporting in ensuring the full compliance of Opella. tax reporting's, in collaboration with the consolidation and accounting teams as well as internal and external tax experts. In particular, you will participate to monitor the group increasing tax reporting requirements, especially IFRS Tax Reporting but also CBCR and GLOBE Reporting.

Key missions:

  • Oversee, monitor and control Opella.’s tax reporting processes, including IFRS Tax Reporting, Country-by-Country Reporting and GLOBE Reporting.
  • Assure the quality of those reporting's in providing support to accounting teams.
  • Participate to tax advisory services for projects, initiatives, business model changes and day-to-day in tax reporting area.
  • Assist the Head of Tax Compliance & Reporting in systematically identifying, assessing and managing income tax risks.
  • Maintain and continuously improve compliance management systems.


About you:

  • Extensive skills and experience (minimum of 7 years) in global tax compliance, with a focus on multinational corporations
  • Expert knowledge in tax reporting / tax accounting / IAS12
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization (a business partner mindset, service oriented, is a must!)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Fluency in English
