Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Aftersales Procurement Contracts manager (f/m) to join our Procurement department ( PYCR Team ) based in Blagnac Toulouse, France.
In PYC team, We are a multi-national team of ~80 people of 16 nationalities, present in 6 countries (France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, UK and Canada) . We have diverse backgrounds ranging from procurement, engineering, services and sales, to project management and legal. Our mission is to shape the Airbus Procurement contractual landscape, delivering best-in-class contractual expertise, standards, guidance & negotiation support, allowing the business to operate in an efficient and safe contractual environment.
About - specifically PYCR Team:
PYCR is a team of 11 Procurement Contract Managers supporting Aftermarket Procurement Commodity Buyers and Customer Services Supplier Managers to put in place supply agreements related the Airbus fleet in service:
- Supplier support conditions for airline customers
- Retrofit and upgrades
- Maintenance solutions including flight-hour services and tailored support package
- Working parties and aircraft conversions
- Corporate jet cabin outfitting
- Flight training devices
- …

Your challenges:
- Providing contractual expertise to Aftermarket Procurement Commodity Buyers or Customer Services Supplier Managers, and to their management, in the negotiation of procurement agreements through direct involvement with suppliers, airline customers and/or back-office support;
- Providing support and advice in Call for Tenders (CFT) by approving the contractual baseline, assessing the contractual elements of bids, preparing/supporting the negotiations and overseeing the contract awards;
- Supporting Airbus projects through the definition of the contractual strategy and related business/sourcing model(s) ;
- Training airline customers on supplier support conditions;
- Supporting aircraft sales campaigns as far as supplier support is concerned;
- Advising internal stakeholders on the contractual implications of planned supplier initiatives (e.g. confidentiality or intellectual property aspects) ;
- Drafting of ad hoc contractual documents together with the Aftermarket Procurement Commodity Buyers, Customer Services Supplier Managers and their management;
- Approving contractual documentation prior to final signature (e.g. with Contract Validation Forms) ;
- Providing contractual analysis and expertise during the contract life cycle, e.g. for contract amendments, in case of potential disputes between Airbus and its suppliers and/or other major events (e.g. supplier insolvency) ;
- Clarifying contractual issues and positions for the preparation/defense of claims and pre-litigation;
- Ensuring the relevancy, quality and consistency of negotiated contractual documents, including compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Airbus business requirements;
- Identifying key contractual risks for review/validation with stakeholders;
- Contributing to the ‘Contracting of Tomorrow‘ by defining ways of working, tools, business models, contract templates;
- Developing new and/or enhancing existing training and awareness modules (with the Procurement Academy or Customer Services Academy and/or for specific stakeholder needs) ;
- Coaching and on-the-job upskilling to grow contractual competences within Procurement and Customer Services.

- You are willing to take on big and small tasks, ranging from strategic projects to operational support;
- This role will involve some occasional travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.;
- You have a keen interest in contracts and prior experience of both contract drafting and contract negotiation;
- Prior experience in the area of aircraft maintenance would be a plus;
- You are fluent in English, both oral and written, and are naturally at ease with words and drafting.
