Description de l'emploi :
The Airbus UpNext' Optimate demonstrator will pave the way to smart automation capabilities by integration of new innovative bricks including computer vision and data fusion. The goal is to help the pilots and facilitate the mission.
The Airbus UpNext Optimate demonstrator team is looking for a fullstack web technology software engineer in order to develop advanced applications to improve aircraft operations on the ground and in flight.
This position comes with a CDI-C (CDI de Chantier) in accordance with the timeline of the demonstrator (deadline for the demo - end of September 2026) .
Starting date - ASAP.
Mission
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Understand critical issues and business needs
- Develop new application solutions, develop them and maintain them
- Relay communication around the different impacts
- Design applications in different programming languages
- Develop the infrastructure to improve deployment processes
- Propose new ideas to improve tools and processes
- Guarantee the quality and stability of production
- Intervene in incident management and improve the monitoring infrastructure
- Help the Lead developer in its mission
Your boarding pass
What you bring:
- At least 5 years experiences in multidisciplinary web development
- Strong technical skills in Javascript, Java, Typescript, Vue.js, Node.js, React, Angular and Progressive Web Application development
- Knowledge of technologies usable for aeronautic applications would be appreciated
- Passionate about exploring new areas, working on equations and quickly implementing innovative ideas and concepts
- Critical thinker that takes on big challenges to create innovative solutions
- Passion about technology, science
- Eagerness to take initiatives to propose simpler and efficient ways of working
- Impatience and burning desire to attain rapidly, along with a healthy skepticism for progress

The responsibilities and the technical scope of the job might evolve according to the agile working environment of the project, so being flexible is important.
You will work very closely cross-functionally with the Airbus Teams, as well as external stakeholders. You have great collaborative skills, with a good understanding of interface management and practical problem solving.
