We are developing the next generation of defense systems that will be in production during the next decades.

Do you want to take part of the definition and execution of the Cybersecurity Technologies and Procedures that will be used in the following years to mitigate short and long-term threats and cyber security risks?

Description of the Role

For Airbus Defence and Space (Airbus DS) within the Digital Security Team we are looking for a Cyber Security professional.

You will be involved on the daily tasks of the Digital Security Technology department that will enable Airbus DS and our customers, defense power through information superiority.

You are a highly motivated, able to work autonomous and to lead technical work packages with an in-depth but wide technical knowledge in several of the following knowledge areas: EDR management, Technical Compliance Checks, Defense Technologies, Change Request Management, Security Automation and real passion for Security.

Tasks

Reporting to the Head of Digital Security Technology Department you will work in an international team with a high involvement in international initiatives at Airbus level.

The position requires Information security skills, a deep understanding in Security besides a solid education in Information Technology and Cyber Security.

You will be involved in some of the following tasks:

  • EDR management
  • Change Request Management
  • Security Configuration Definition for Security Products and Business apps
  • Support Compliance Checks
  • Hardening guidelines analysis for compliance
  • Impact & Risk assessment
  • Security features definition for Defense Technologies
  • Sec Dev Ops & Secure Development Automation
  • KPI definition & Analysis

Skills and Qualification

  • Hacker mindset: Curiosity, willingness to understand how things work, how to break and fix them.
  • Highly innovative mindset and permanently challenging the status quo.
  • Passionate about Security and Technology.
  • Willingness to do always your best, grow and take new responsibilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an environment that requires a high level of detail and confidentiality.
  • Proactive, self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team member in a challenging and international environment.

The candidate must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.

  • Strong team player.
  • Strong skills in communicating and presenting complex situations
  • Analytical capabilities, well developed planning and organizational skills.
  • Able to work autonomously as well as in international teams.
  • IT Security Professional certificate/education is highly desired (CISSP, SANS/GIAC or equivalent) .
