Missions

Isover, brand of Saint-Gobain’s group, is the worldwide leader for sustainable insulation. Products manufactured by Isover actively participate to increase thermal efficiency of buildings and improve user comfort.

The center of CRIR located in Picardie gathers key competences, from R&D and Engineering, to develop and support Isover plants worldwide.

The VIE mission will take place at the center of the collaboration between CRIR teams and the production site of Vamdrup, Denmark.
As a Process Engineer VIE, your responsibilities will include overseeing on-site R&D studies and supporting the plant with process optimization projects and production quality issues.
Daily management will be ensured by the plant with regular follow-up from CRIR referents. Initial missions will be eventually completed by operational missions according to the plant’s needs.

As a VIE, you’ll take part in the following missions:
  • Participate in projects linked to density optimization and scraps reduction on the mat lines:
  • Plan and supervise trials on the production line to test new solutions;
  • Collect and analyze process data, evaluate the effect on product quality;
  • Implement new metrology techniques;
  • Participate in projects linked to capacity increase of the blowing wool lines:
  • Inventory process parameters;
  • Identify process levers to minimize quality variations;
  • Implement new metrology techniques;
  • Support the Quality Engineer with product certification and production quality issues.
This is a 12-month mission, extendable once

Profil recherché

If you recognise yourself in the following description, don’t hesitate to apply!
  • Master's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)
  • A first experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Some programming skills (SQL, Python) would be considered as a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to various stakeholders
  • Autonomy and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Strong appetence for the field
  • You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
