Missions
As a Project Manager VIE, you will operate in the Nordic & Baltic region within the Saint-Gobain Nordic IT Services team.The Saint-Gobain Nordic IT Services team develops and enforces regional and global IT and digital solutions. We work with about 25+ business units, 550+ different sites and 13, 000 end-users over the 7 countries in the Nordic & Baltic region.
We are looking for a Project Manager VIE to be a key member of our Project Management Office, belonging to the Strategy & Transformation Office. You will be a part of an inspirational team where success is based on dedication, collaboration, and team spirit. Your office will be in the regional headquarters, situated in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Thanks to a Saint-Gobain tailored project management framework (that you will be trained on while joining us) , we run projects, in various areas (Digital, IT, Business Intelligence, Finance, Sustainability etc.) with multiple stakeholders and on diverse topics. We rely on specialized teams who are our technical resources on the projects, as well as external consultants.
As a Project Manager VIE, your missions will include:
- Outlining, defining and initiating the project, including developing a project plan, deliverables, and assessing what is to be included or excluded from the project scope;
- Monitoring project progress (milestones, budget, compliance to standards etc.) and maintaining communication with stakeholders all along the project;
- Leading the project by coordinating activities and leading workshops with the technical teams;
- Preparing project management documentation (PID, Project Plan, Communication Plan, Closure Report etc.) to support the project;
- Running, developping, and strengthening the department’s projects Portfolio using Smartsheet & PowerBI;
- Documenting, monitoring and ensuring the integration of new processes;
- Contributing to the Project Management Academy – a training program for local resources on project management.
This is a 12-month mission, renewable once.
Profil recherché
If you recognize yourself in the following description, don’t hesitate to apply!- You hold a Master’s degree in Business, Communication, Business Intelligence or any related fields, with some focus on Project Management courses;
- You have a first experience related to project management, events management, the coordination of an association or any related activities;
- Some exposure to methodologies such as Prince 2, or tools such as Jira or Smartsheet would be nice to have but not mandatory;
- You have great communication skills and are able to adapt to various stakeholders;
- You are a quick learner, autonomous and self-driven;
- You are recognized for your organizational and time management skills
- You have an analytical mindset and are results oriented
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken) ;
