Job Description:
We are seeking a Financial Controller to join our team in Kundl, Austria, your role will be:
- Business partnering with operational departments and providing financial support to business units.
- Contribute with financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and planning phases.
- Conducting variance analyses (target vs. actual comparisons) , ad hoc financial analyses, and evaluations of key performance indicators (KPIs) .
- Managing and overseeing relevant contracts from a financial perspective.
- Taking responsibility for project controlling and financial oversight.
- Ensure compliance with Austria's financial regulations and tax laws.
- Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and systems to increase efficiency.
- Support strategic initiatives and projects
Profil recherché
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in finance
- Strong affinity for numbers and data analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) B2/C1
- Intermediate German skills B2/C1
- Highly independent and reliable
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Proactive and adaptable
- Understanding of financial reporting principles
- Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting processes
