Missions
As part of our International Division, you will join our teams in Fiji, where SUEZ Consulting leads strategic projects to support the sustainable development of local infrastructure.
We collaborate with international donors (AFD, World Bank, ADB, AfDB, EU, EIB…) to implement projects in essential sectors such as water, waste, mobility, and environmental protection, particularly in developing and emerging countries.
Our Projects in Fiji
SUEZ Consulting is currently implementing two projects in Fiji:
- Technical Assistance to the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) :
- Training local teams,
- Developing hydraulic models (drinking water and wastewater) ,
- Enhancing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) ,
- Implementing integrated watershed management,
- Conducting pollution dispersion studies in coastal areas.
- UNICEF Rural Master Plan:
- Developing a master plan for water and sanitation infrastructure in rural areas.
Job Details
- Location: Fiji
- Duration: 12 months (renewable once)
- Start Date: Immediate
Your Role
You will actively contribute to the successful delivery of ongoing projects while supporting the strategic development of SUEZ Consulting in the region and neighboring islands.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in feasibility studies and technical project design,
- Prepare tender documents for works,
- Support the commercial team in responding to regional tenders,
- Contribute to the development of activities in Fiji and the Pacific.
Profil recherché
Required Profile
Education and Experience
- Degree in Engineering or Master's specialization in hydraulics or civil engineering,
- At least 2 years of experience in urban hydraulic studies, including:
- Hydraulic modeling/design of networks (drinking water and wastewater) ,
- Use of GIS tools.
- Experience in project management or construction supervision is a plus,
- Previous international experience is highly desirable.
Skills
- Full proficiency in English (French is a plus) ,
- Adaptability and flexibility to navigate multicultural and occasionally complex environments,
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit,
- Autonomy and ability to solve technical or organizational challenges.
VIE Eligibility Requirements
- Be under 29 years old,
- Be a citizen of a European Union country.
