Missions
Within the Saint-Gobain Purchasing Department, we are committed to enhancing our procurement processes and driving cost-saving initiatives. Our central analytics team works closely with all business units and collaboratively with all levels in the purchasing organization.The main role:
By joining us as a VIE, you’ll be able to take part to the following missions:
Purchasing Analysis, Support, and Reporting (50%) :
- Lead and support sourcing initiatives for assigned categories, including RFP/bid development, analysis, and presentation of results with business unit leaders and functional category managers;
- Conduct detailed purchasing analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes;
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on purchasing activities and performance metrics;
- Assist with key strategic purchasing projects, including data management (vendor cleansing strategies, vendor information management strategies) ;
- Support supplier relationship management and category performance initiatives;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
According to our VIE policy, remote work from home is possible (maximum 2 days per week) . We offer flexible working arrangements to help you balance your professional and personal life.
This is a 18-month VIE mission, non-extendable.
Profil recherché
If you recognize yourself in the following description, don’t hesitate to apply!- Master’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Finance or any related field
- Excellent written and verbal language skills in English
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI)
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and proactively engage cross functional constituents
- Experience on SAP or similar systems with MRP functionality would be a plus
- Completion of or current enrollment in Purchasing or a Supply Chain Designation Program (SCMP, CITT etc.) will be considered as an asset
